Search Thru

performs a Grep - like search on content of chosen files or directories on SD card for matching expressions.

Features:

•supported file types: DOCX, ODT, TXT, XML
•support for regular expressions http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/essential/regex/
•possible preview of results during the process of searching, preview in Results Preview http://www.google.com/url?q=http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmail.fksapps.resultspreview with focus on text matching keyword or in any other word processor of your choice
•case sensitive/insensitive search
•easy to use, intuitive interface (see screenshots):
-click button “Choose file or directory”, short click to browse folders on SD card, long click to choose folders or files, you can choose as many folders/files as you want
-enter keyword or regular expression you want to find inside chosen files and click “Search”
-list of results contains names of files and fragments of text with the keyword or matching expression highlighted
-click on the result you are interested in and preview the whole document, choosing Results Preview will give you focus on paragraph containing keyword or matching expression
-press Back to return to list of results
-press Back again to start new search
-list of files and directories chosen for search is saved between sessions, long click on a filename if you want to remove it from the list
•suitable for everyone who needs full-text search through notes and other documents, among others: students, lawyers, doctors, analysts, salesmen, administrative assistants
