This application was designed to encrypt and decrypt files. Only the person who installs the app, is able to see and handle the encrypted files.
Furthermore, it has permission with Dropbox cloud, in case you want to upload or download your encrypted files. It was developed with the goal that just one device is able to decrypt its encrypted files, so, thinking in portability at this situation, the app has the function to export and import the encryption key, if you need to restore them in another device with Security Data.
