About SEPA Precipitaciones Android App

Esta aplicación para dispositivos móviles ideada y creada por Alfredo Campos, Patricio Oricchio y Carlos Di Bella de el Instituto de Clima de Agua del INTA te permitirá observar la distribución espacial de variables relacionadas con la precipitación.

Al usar la aplicación, el dispositivo inicia una comunicación con un servidor de INTA consultando por información actualizada de variables asociadas a la precipitación. Todas las variables obtenidas son mostradas mediante la herramienta de Google Maps, lo cual permite navegar el mapa y encontrar sitios de interés para el usuario.

La información consultada por la aplicación se divide según sus fuentes de origen: i) Temperatura de Topes Nubosos, extraídas de las imágenes GOES recibidas en el instituto de Clima y Agua del INTA; ii) Imágenes de la red de radares INTA (Pergamino – Anguil – Paraná) ;y iii) Precipitación acumulada obtenida por la red de estaciones automáticas de INTA.This mobile application designed and created by Alfredo Campos, Patricio Oricchio and Carlos Di Bella of the Institute of Water Climate INTA allow you to observe the spatial distribution of variables related to precipitation.

By using the application, the device initiates a communication with a server for updated at INTA variables associated with precipitation information. All variables obtained are shown by Google Maps tool, which allows you to browse the map and find sites of interest to the user.

The information accessed by the application is divided according to their sources: i) temperature Topes Nubosos extracted from the GOES images received at the Institute of Climate and Water INTA; ii) Images of the radar network (INTA Pergamino - Anguil - Paraná) and iii) accumulated precipitation obtained by the network of automatic stations INTA.
