'Clear input after sending' function added in Settings menu.
'Connect BT' and 'Disconnect' added to menu list.
This app functions just like the Arduino IDE's Serial Monitor (writing and reading serial string) but in mobile and handy way.
Users need to connect this app to Bluetooth modules (not over USB-OTG) such as Bluetooth Bee or HC-06 on the hardware side to start the serial communication task or just to other Android devices with the appropriate Bluetooth communication app.
There are two ways you can test this app right away. Firstly, download this app to two different Android devices, pair them through Android's Bluetooth menu, connect them together via the app's menu and you will see how they work.
Secondly, you can use my Arduino Robot Joystick app or GPS Shield app which needs to be installed and run on another Android device, establish the Bluetooth connection using the "Connect" menu and voila, the serial reading task begins.
Or else, if you want to test this app using Arduino hardware, you may upload "Read Analog Voltage" sketch from the Arduino IDE's Examples menu to your Arduino board, connect the Bluetooth module (e.g. HC-06) to appropriate pins (VCC, GND, TX, RX) and connect to this app using "Connect" menu.
What is displayed on Arduino IDE's Serial Monitor will exactly be displayed by this app.
You can try to chat between two Android devices using this Bluetooth Serial Terminal app (needs to be installed on each device) with Emoji function supported.
