We have developed Smartphone based productivity enhancement applications. I am hereby attaching presentation of one such application which I think will be useful to your company.
It is a Service Report app. Allows user to fill in relevant information in simple / easy to use manner as you can see from the attached presentation. It can include following information:
1. Customer Details: Enter customer name, PO, location, customer contact
2. Labor: Allows the user to add all the labor charges such as classification, hours, rates
3. Travel: Allows the user to enter the costs related to travel such as miles travelled, rate, rental expenses
4. Material: Add components that are changed / replaced as a part of visit
5. Additional Remarks and signature of customer to confirm that work is complete
He can then view the Report: All the data captured is displayed as a report. Then this data can be synched to server using Submit Report option.
Features:
1. The customer information can be synced from server so user need not fill in on phone.
2. Consistent charges for labor and material. Android application will periodically sync with server to get latest labor and material charges that sales engineer can use to charge customer.
3. The report first gets saved on the phone in the encrypted form. Whenever internet connection is available, a background thread will sync the data to server. Thus even if the user has travelled to a remote area the report will be saved on mobile. Once internet connectivity is available, the data will be sync to server.
This version of Service Report Demo Android App comes with one universal variant which will work on all the Android devices.
