About Shared Places Android App
The app is currently at beta state, please send all suggestions and feature requests to [email protected].
Shared Places is a tool for your organization for sharing and viewing map data. For an example, you can share delivery addresses, maintenance targets or fleet locations.
In the application you can view demo locations on top of different map layers. Subscribed users can include their own places to the app. You need to have your data in suitable format, (see an example at http://www.protieto.fi/kml/example.kml), and put it available somewhere on the web. We have detailed instructions at http://www.protieto.fi/places.html.
If you are interested in having your places publicly visible in Shared Places instead of demo locations, as in having event locations available to your visitors or advertising your places globally, please contact [email protected].
