About Shear Stress Android App
Shear stress is an important parameter at inquiry, sizing or operational stage of a heat exchanger for evaluating the potential of surface fouling due to insufficient level of surface shear.
This App allows user to quickly calculate shear stress value from pressure drop and a few channel geometric parameters.
User can choose preferred input and output units directly besides each input box and on the result panel.
Please note that this App is also available as part of a prepackaged Heat Exchanger Toolbox. Before downloading this App, please check to see if the toolbox is better suited for your needs.
