About SIU Safe Walk Android App
This is Southern Illinois University (SIU) Department of Public Safety's (DPS) Safe Walk app. SIU students who will be walking on campus at night can request an escort from the SIU DPS through this app. After scheduling, the student will receive an email confirming that their request has been received. An escort will meet the student at the starting location and walk with them to the destination.
Operating hours (Fall and Spring Semesters):
Monday: 8:30pm - 12:30am
Tuesday - Thursday: 8:00pm - 12:00am
Friday: 8:30pm - 12:30am
Saturday: 5:30pm - 9:30pm
