About Slokka. Enjoy your Lockscreen Android App

Slokka is a new application that gives you the possibility to receive on your lockscreen and free of charge, breaking news, gossip, sport, horoscope, fashion, lifestyle etc etc.

How does it work?

- Chose in the setting page one or more topics or sources you are interested in. Click on the rss icon of online magazine or newspaper for activating the service.

. You can use the search field to insert keywords and find topics of your interest (es. football, horoscope, news, weather forecast, lifestyle, fashion etc. etc.)

- You can access advanced setting by clicking on the wheel at the bottom of the page. You can choose whether receiving news just on wifi mode or also using your mobile data network. Also, you can choose how many times Slokka will update and how many news you want to receive.

- You can deactivate the app at any time and activate again whenever you like.


And then?


- Every time you’ll activate the screen of your mobile, the content you chose to receive will be there ready to be read (image + title)

- If of your interest, all you’ll have to do is to “slok” the screen toward left. If instead you want to access your mobile as usual, without reading the news, you’ll have to swap with your finger on the screen toward right.

- Did you find the news very interesting? You’ll be able to share it with your friends on Facebook, “sloking” toward the top of the screen.

- you don’t have to stop at one single news, you can browse other content as well.

- Now and then, you’ll find some commercial ad together with the news. You’ll be able to explore that as well, in the same way.

- Do you run a website or a blog and want to share your RSS with us? You can subscribe to Slokka, but be aware that we require xml with content and images with very good quality. Also, your content needs to be coherent with our policy.

This app uses the Device Administrator permission, because it's needed to start Slokka as lockscreen.
