About smartDNA™ Scanner - Advanced Android App

This Application is proprietary product of LinkSmart Technologies and purpose built to scan smartDNA™ labels. One must require smartDNA™ labels to use this application. smartDNA™ auto-acquire per-asset unique credential upon application along with integrity monitored remotely. smartDNA™ is new paradigm in security labelling technology very much like the barcodes were introduced as tracking technology almost 5 decades back. This application is tightly integrated with smartDNA™ cloud infrastructure, offering Security as Service (SaaS). Application also extends post-mortem and diagnostic capability on cloud, which can be leveraged to recreate any previous scanning picked from audit-trail. Currently this application is envisioned primarily for B2B use-case. Application scan results are portable across different form-factor devices ranging from industrial PDA to stationary table-top scanners to enable end-2-end solution. If immediate destructibility is required for specific usecase, ask for instant destructible version of smartDNA.

Validity period of license is 6 months. Licensing response is cached in device for a period of one month and application can be used in that period without being online necessarily. Post one month application will prompt for license validation in case of off-line mode. License validation does not require re-purchase within validity period. All one need to do is to bring device online and application license gets quickly re-validated and saved in cache for next one month period.

Device support - This application is targeted for B2B segment, 8 MP (and above) camera with reasonably good auto-focus is recommended, In general any device that can read barcode efficiently can also scan smartDNA™. Scanning may take slightly longer time on low end devices.
