About SMEC Robot Control Android App

Android controlled robot project make use of an Android mobile phone for robotic control with the help of Bluetooth technology. This is a robotics projects using micro controller. Smartphone controlled robot is a superior product developed by us. As smart phones are very popular and users are familiar with android applications, this product is of great use.
This project is a Bluetooth controlled robot. The wireless communication techniques used to control the robot is Bluetooth technology. For this the android mobile user has to install an application on her/his mobile. Android based robot has a Bluetooth receiver unit which receives the commands and give it to the micro controller circuit to control the motors. Then user needs to turn on the Bluetooth in the mobile. The smartphone has to be paired with the Bluetooth initially just like we do with our mobile phones. After that User can use various commands like move arm up, down, open, close, rotate etc from the android application. These commands are sent from the Android mobile to the Bluetooth receiver. The micro controller then transmits the signal to the motor driver IC’s to operate the motors which are mechanically configured to move the arm as required.
