About SMS MMS Search for Tasker Android App
This is a Tasker Plugin so the Tasker app is required for use of this plugin. This plugin will take a keyword and search SMS, MMS, or both sets for that keyword. The plugin will return the following local Tasker variables:
%smstofrom() Whether the message is 'To' or 'From' the below names and numbers
%smsname() Names from the returned SMS messages
%smsphone() Phone numbers from the returned SMS messages
%smsbody() Body of the returned SMS messages
%smsdatems() Date of the returned SMS messages in milliseconds
%smsdate() Date of the returned SMS messages (MM/dd/yyyy)
%smstime() Time hh:mm of the returned SMS messages
%smscount Total number of SMS message
%smsresult Formatted SMS search result
%mmstoname() Names from the 'To' field of the returned MMS messages
%mmstophone() Phone Numbers from the 'To' field of the returned MMS messages
%mmsfromname() Names from the 'From' field of the returned MMS messages
%mmsfromphone() Phone numbers from the 'From' field of the returned MMS messages
%mmsbody() Body of the returned MMS message
%mmsdatems() Date of the returned MMS message inmilliseconds
%mmsdate() Date of the returned MMS message (MM/dd/yyyy)
%mmstime() Time hh:mm of the returned MMS messages
%mmscount Total number of MMS message
%mmsresult Formatted MMS search result
Searching MMS with either 'Names' or 'Phone Numbers' are checked it will still be slow.
Dumping the SMS Database to a .csv for outside use. (Not able to restore the SMS DB from this file at this point).
