Version 1.3 - Migrated to final NOAA's SWPC web services.
Version 1.2 - Fixed broken widget after NOAA's SWPC web services changed location.
Version 1.1 - Added a workaround so that the widget appears on most of the devices without a device restart.
This is a very useful widget for ham radio operators. It provides an overview of the current solar data retrieved every 3 hours from NOAA. The displayed information is a combination of the "Daily Solar Data" and "Geophysical Alert Message" products published by the Space Weather Prediction Center.Only an overview of the solar data is provided and not complete space weather info.
The widget displays the current solar flux (SFI), SESC sunspot number (SSN), and planetary K-index/A-index as well as the observed and predicted space weather storms.
Note: Due to the way Android handles widgets, a device restart is required on some Android 4.0.x devices after widget installation. If the widget does not appear immediately after install, you may try a device restart or try to uninstall it and install it again.
