Sound Meter Pro – Your pocket handheld noise detector has been kept as basic as it could be to ensure that the user can use it in an efficient way. It uses the phone’s microphone to detect the pressure of sound (or sound volume) and then display that value on a sound meter in decibels(db). Keeping in mind that the phone’s microphone are manufactured and aligned according to human voice, hence the maximum values are limited by the manufacturer. The features of this sound genie include:

Please note:
• Smartphones are aligned to be used on human voices and not higher level of db.
• Although the sound meter comes calibrated to most devices, but there is a user-calibration also available
inside the application.
• You can adjust the sound meter’s sensitivity according to your device’s hardware. Minor errors that arise due to
hardware difference can be calibrated.
