- Fixed a bug that caused an "application unresponsive" error message on some devices.
- Added a mechanic to allow the user to adjust the delay time between the words "on your mark" and "get set"
UPDATE: I'm afraid I haven't had much time to support this app, and it seems like some newer versions of Android aren't compatible with it. If you download it, just be aware that it might not work on your device. Apologies all, I created this in a week as a hobby project, and have never had a chance to get back to it.
This application is intended to assist sprinters in learning to start as close to the starter pistol shot as possible, without incurring false-starts by rising too early. It will audibly play the words "on your marks, get set" followed by a random delay, and then a starter pistol shot.
To help simulate variation among starting officials, the app will randomly vary the length of the delay between the word "set" and the starter pistol shot. The user can select the range of time that this delay will vary between (1 to 2 seconds by default).
The user can also set the static delay time between the words "on your mark" and "get set."
Best of luck!
Features:
- Announces the "on your marks!, get set!, *bang*" of a sprint start over the device speakers, and provides visual cues for each announcement for the hearing impaired.
- Allows the user to choose how much irregularity the app should simulate in its delay between the "set" announcement and the starter pistol shot.
- Allows the user to set the desired delay time between the words "on your marks" and "get set"
