About Squawks Android App
Squawks is a simple and easy way to report an aircraft malfunction. A must have for any renter, mechanic, flight school, flying club, charter operations, or even aircraft owners!
We've all been there. An instrument acts up or quits completely and now you need to remember to tell the owner or FBO. Well, no longer will you have to remember. Simply open up Squawks, type a short description of what's wrong, and Squawks will send a text message to the owner or FBO letting them know which aircraft has a problem, what the problem is, and who reported it. Further yet, add your mechanic or maintenance department to be notified whenever you report a problem.
Squawks requires a one time setup. Simply tap "Settings" and fill in the number for Squawks to text when you submit a report, your name, and the tail number of the aircraft you fly. This allows you to report a problem with only a couple words, but a complete message is relayed.
