The St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation (SCDF) is charged with organising St. Maarten's Carnival, by far the island's largest cultural event for 42 years. From colorful parades, to spectacular pageants, exciting Calypso, energetic bands, and highly anticipated international concerts, St. Maarten's Carnival has something for everyone. The center of our activities is our Carnival Village. Every April the Village is transformed into the region's largest restaurant, with 80 booths with samplings of cuisine from every nationality that call St. Maarten home. Come enjoy our "fete", Come enjoy our Carnival.
