Who We Are
Streams Ministries is an equipping ministry that offers spiritual teaching and media designed to help you hear God, reveal the often overlooked ways in which God speaks, and train and empower believers at all levels of spiritual maturity to begin using their gifts to spread the truth and power of the Gospel.

Revealing God
Whether you’re a lifelong Christian or just someone interested in starting a spiritual journey of discovery, change doesn’t begin until God becomes real to you. We believe God is speaking to us all the time, but some of us are simply not hearing His voice. Our training, resources and TV and film projects are focused on revealing the awe and supernatural presence of God to every generation.

Awakening Dreams
Once you discover God is real and present in your everyday life, you’ll also realize He has a unique plan on earth just for you. Our desire is to call forth that unique destiny by helping you align the dreams and aspirations of your heart with the Creator Who put them there. We then offer practical training to help you reach the purpose for which you were created.

Changing Lives
Our vision and goal is to not only change your life, but to train and inspire you to change the lives of everyone you meet. All of our TV, film, media and training is designed to reach a world who doesn’t know Jesus. Our training is evangelism focused and our TV and media is created in a way to be thought-provoking to longtime Christians, as well as compelling to those who don’t consider themselves followers of Jesus.

About John E. Thomas
John and Dawna Thomas were radically saved out of the drug culture in 1996. Personally mentored by John Paul Jackson, they’ve been on staff with or have worked alongside Streams Ministries since 2004. John pastored The Bridge Metrowest (planted by John Paul) for five years before he and Dawna stepped out into full-time itinerant ministry. After John Paul passed away, John began to work more closely with the Streams leadership team and in 2016 was asked to become the president of Streams Ministries.

With his background as a pastor and a minister in various settings around the world, John has a unique perspective on prophetic ministry and the global Body of Christ. He desires to see the Church rise up in her authority and in the full power of the Holy Spirit, and his passion for God’s heart undergirds everything he does. He wants to help the Bride of Christ respond with fervent devotion to the One who called her.

John co-authored The Art of Praying the Scriptures: A Fresh Look at Lectio Divina with John Paul Jackson and has also written courses on prophetic ministry, dream interpretation, and the Kingdom of God. As president of Streams Ministries, he ministers internationally to help restore the awe of God to a world that has lost its wonder. He and Dawna live outside of Dallas, Texas.
