Stroop constató un gran aumento del tiempo requerido por los participantes para completar las tareas NCW (Naming Colored Words).
Se supone que la causa de esta interferencia se encuentra en la automatización de la lectura, que hace que la mente determine automáticamente el significado semántico de la palabra, y a la vez debe ignorar la identificación del color de la palabra, un proceso que no es automatizado.Application 2nd Round WSI 2015. Stroop found a large increase in the time required by participants to complete the NCW (Naming Colored Words) tasks.
It is assumed that the cause of this interference is in the automation of reading, which makes the mind automatically determines the semantic meaning of the word, yet should ignore color identification word, a process that is not automated .
