Major Update, a bunch of fixes implemented
Fixed crash on wrong file type
Added option to set orientation
Subtitle girl shows subtitles from a file and reads them aloud
for you. There is a play/pause and a rewind options. Note that
the Text-To-Speech engine is using current system language
to read the subtitles' text.
WARNING! To use the app you need to set up the Text-To-Speech
engine on your device: Settings->Accessibility->Text-to-speech output.
You can also download a voice package to get TTS ofline. If you don't
have a TTS engine, you can download one from Google Play.
You select the file with subtitles, she reads them on time. You
will hear them at the moment you usually see them on the screen.
It's intended to use with an another device, that is actually playing
the movie soundless. But, you know, you can use it as what is
more interesting for you :D
- For example, you can write your own subtitle file and play a joke on friends,
making so that the app will read wishes list or jokes or whatever else
- Or you can learn a language, because subtitle girl often reads text clearer
than actor usually do.
- Or you can get a voice over for a film that does not have one on your language,
but has a subtitles file.
I am just a human, so feel free to mail me about pros and cons, your needs,
bugs founded, why you downloaded or why are you immediatly deleting the app :)
