About Sun and Moon Android App
The Sun and Moon application calculates the position, rise and set of the Sun and Moon at a given time and place. The time of the onset of the lunar phases and lunar days is also calculated.
To improve the accuracy of determining the location of the observer, geographical maps are used.
Calculations are made in the date range from 3000 BC. e. until 3000 A.D.
Although the calculations are highly accurate (using Steve Moshier algorithms), the purpose of the application is more for entertaining than for astronomical observations. For this, the application provides for the possibility of interpreting the meaning of the lunar days in astrological terms.
