Smoothing out some transitions
For all who can never decide if they want a digital clock or a round one here is a third option: the sun clock. Also for all who rarely see the sky might be treated with the app. Last but not least all who dislike technology might be pleased to read the time from a shadow of a stick and the sun instead of an industrially produced clock.
The app computes the sun at your location. The position comes from your telephone provider and is only country-accurate. The source of the current time is your device.
You probably do not have an ocean in your country but for aesthetics sake one is shown nonetheless.
From the time starting the sunset to sunrise there is mostly only the ocean to see. The island then is in the shadow anyway. In the night you may see some algae glowing in the ocean.
The correctness of the simulation is preserved only during the time of the day where the sun clock is actually working. The sun should be quite exactly where you see it when you look out the window where you live. Sunset and sunrise times might be off slightly.
Tap the screen for different angles.
Although it is a simulation it is still quite calming to watch.
Big thanks to our Mama sun for giving us all we need! In a later version I might introduce Papa moon, our companion through the galaxy and the rest of the matter in our universe.
