This app is a form of Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and provides symbols to assist communication in basic functions such as a request for 'more', 'finished', 'listen' and 'help' etc. It also includes a customisable symbol box allowing you to take a picture of an object, record audio of what that object is and it will display as a custom symbol button from within the app itself. This will assist in personalising the choose board for individuals to select from when needed.
This choose board is an effective and convenient method of communication as it promotes and aids in interaction, promotes motor skills for those with minimal language skills.
