Added more COLOR to the game by making the "sleeves" that contain the coins have different colors instead of just being white.
I also changed the background screens on the intro instruction screens to just plain white so that the instructions are easier to read.
Stack coins in money tubes, filling up every slot. You have 6 money tubes to fill per screen, and each can hold 5 coins, making a total of 30 coins per screen. You are given a GOAL amount on each screen, and you WIN if your grand total equals your set goal. So make sure you sharpen up your accounting pencil! No need to bring a calculator, because we display the subtotal below each Money tube along with the Grand Total.
To place a coin into a desired Money tube, simply tap on that tube. Coins will continue to drop into the selected tube until you select a different tube.
There are 2 Discard tubes to place coins that you do not want. Simply tap on the discard tube and coins will start to drop into that tube. Again, coins will continue to drop into the discard tube until you select a different tube.
The lower left hand corner of the screen gives you a PREVIEW of the NEXT coin that will drop. The next coin drops as soon as the previous coin comes to a stop.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you, higher value coins crush lower value coins when stacking, so lower values must be placed on top of higher value coins (if you want to keep them). Unless you want to crush the lower value coins to make more space.
You also lose if you stack 6 coins in ANY tube; however, if the 6th coin is of a higher value than the ones in the tube, then that higher value coin will crush the lower value coins making more space in that tube.
There are also short mini-games where you can win Wooden Nickel power-ups. You can use a Wooden Nickel to clear out BOTH Discard tubes, instantly giving you space for 10 more coins. You can also TRADE Wooden Nickels for BETTER power-ups. Trade 3 Wooden Nickels for either a FREEZE power-up, which will freeze the game for 10 seconds giving you a chance to study the money tubes; or a SLOW DRIP power-up which will slow the rate of dropping coins by 50% for 30 seconds.
You can also tap on the PAUSE button, and then swap power-ups in and out of the current game. This allows you to have the Wooden Nickel power-up active while you are filling the money tubes and need more space in the discard tubes; and then, when you are close to the end and are approaching your money goal, you can swap out to either the Freeze or Slow Drip power-up so that you can more easily finish and hit your goal.
If you are given a low money goal, then you will want to fill some tubes up with pennies (or nickels) so that you use up a lot of slots but don't accrue too much money.
To make the game even more fun, we also included dropping POSTAGE STAMPS. You may not know this, but postage stamps can be used as currency. Some screens drop coins, some drop stamps, and some screens drop both. Some screens are faster than other screens (i.e., the drops are faster).
To make it more interesting, we included some RARE coins and postage stamps in the mix; along with many non-rare coins and stamps that you may recognize from your past.
To make it a learning experience, we added some historical questions that require you to tap on the right coin or stamp that is the correct answer. For example, one of the questions asks which president died in office (hint: the Lincoln penny looks like a good bet).
You'll have fun stacking coins and stamps, and practicing your math...you can take that to the bank!
