Small bug fix release
Created as part of the Talking Tigers Sharing Histories project run by Tigers Trust in association with One to One Development Trust, the Talking Tigers Memory Box is an app primarily designed for offline use on tablet devices in local care homes and out within the wider community, or for any Castleford Rugby fan.
Talking Tigers is a tool to encourage discussion and recollection about the long and rich history and heritage of Castleford Tigers Rugby League as well as the local Castleford area, perfect to use as a 'discussion resource' between people or in a group.
Talking Tigers has involved some very dedicated volunteers from the Castleford Tigers Heritage Project, Tigers Trust, One to One Development Trust, Castleford Museum, South West Yorkshire NHS Trust and Alzheimer's Society. Manor Park Care home and Newfield Lodge Care Home residents were also involved.
Talking Tigers Sharing Histories was made possible with funding from NOVA Live Well and Creative Minds. A film about the project is available here.
The material on the App is curated from the Castleford Tigers Heritage Project www.castigersheritage.com for offline use and includes a simple quiz and a 'matching card' game designed by volunteer fans working with One to One Development Trust.
