About Tartini audio guide Android App
The exhibition has been set up by the Maritime Museum »Sergej Mašera« Piran in cooperation with several cultural institutions, as well as the support by Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia, Piran Municipality, Italian Community »Giuseppe Tartini« Piran and in collaboration with numerous associates, supporters and sponsors.
The exhibition set-up was initiated by the agreement on the exchange of exhibitions of two maritime museums in Piran and Rijeka, which apart from their major maritime-historical and art orientation keep and attend to musical heritage.
In April 2015 – in the month of Tartini's birth – the Maritime and History Museum of Croatian Primorje Rijeka made a guest appearance in Piran with the exhibition on Franjo Kresnik, doctor of medicine and Europe's well-known violin maker from Rijeka, while at the end of the year it is now rendering its central exhibition hall in the heart of permanent collections in the Governor’s Palace to the exhibition conceived up by the Maritime Museum Piran.
