-Stopped a crash that could happen when making a connection to the button failed. Put better logging in around that failure to see if I can resolve the reason that it is failing for some users. Now you'll see an error message indicating the connection failed.
-Removed the old method of getting the button connection, only the new automatic method is present now, and the old method is no longer updated as a backup.

NOTE - Versions prior to 1.8 will no longer be able to connect to the button. They required daily manual intervention to connect correctly. The new automated process implemented in 1.8 has worked successfully, and support of earlier versions has ended.
