The clock tower was built in 1712 and equipped with a bell from 1537; it was modified and restored in 1928.
The earthquake damaged it on May 29 and completely destroyed it on June 3, 2012.
A contribution to the reconstruction may be sent to the account of the City of Novi di Modena
