The script is the origin Dublin Irish rock band. The band consists of vocalist Danny O'Donoghue, guitarist Mark Sheehan and drummer Glen Power.

Danny O'Donoghue and Mark Sheehan have been friends a long time since they were 12 years old. They both grew up in Dublin, Ireland. Before The Script, Danny and Mark was an active member of the boy group called MyTown, which was formed in 1996. The success of Danny and Mark in the songwriting and production work together in bringing them to Canada for collaboration with songwriter and music producer board on such Dallas Austin, Montell Jordan and Teddy Riley. Later they lived in America for several years.
