Sam McPhillips grew up in rural North Devon. Sam studied illustration in Bristol, before working as a professional Illustrator based in the city of Bath. She shares her home with her husband and very spoilt bengal cat, Miss Silkie Sue.
Author Clemency Pearce studied art and fashion at university, with great emphasis on questioning the world around her through vivid imagery, film and words. Writing was a faithful companion throughout her twenties and in 2011 her first book was published.
