About Thea Android App
This app is used for captioning of performances - you get the text directly on your own phone. Text is used to support deaf people and people with hearing problems. The app can also be used to show text in other languages.
The app can also be used for sending prerecorded audio descriptions in sync with the text.
It is both possible to use the app over a WiFi-network in a theatre with a local server or outdoors connecting over the mobile network to a cloudbased server.
The last version has changed the user interface to black background and white text. To get it easier to use the app outdoors.
New functionality is added. The possibility to use it for outdoor performances with the communication over the mobile network. When used like that the user starts by choosing the theater they are visiting,
