This app uses the demo server (which may not work at times) and is used only for demonstration purposes. To actually use the service as intended, check out the official Timecrypt page to launch your own server and build your own app version to work with it. Timecrypt is an open-source, non-realtime communication API that can be used to create, store, send and read encrypted messages. All messages created through Timecrypt can have:
Password - Lock your message using a special passphrase, also needed to unlock the message
Self-destruct date - For example, request to destroy the message in 5 days
Invitation email address - Send a direct invitation to the message
Title - Give a short insight on what the message contains
Notification email address - Receive a notification when the message is read
Allowed views - For example, request to destroy the message after it has been seen X times
For a quick demonstration, you can see the project website or use this app. Server and client code on the demo page are in sync with the source repository.
