Example usage:
Click "Alchemy by Effect" to go to that section. Start by setting the effect type and effect count you want to achieve. The lists will then only present items that can meet these criteria. Then select effect 1, then 2 , then 3 and so on. As you do this, an internal list of potions is narrowed which have the selected effects. To view these potions at any time, click "Select Potion". Selecting one will show you the ingredients. When satisfied with your selection, you can save it to your favorites and optionally give it a name to easily remember it by.

Doing it by ingredient is a nearly identical to doing it by effect.

When it loads for the first time, it copies a database file to the app's data directory. This should only happen once per installation of this app. It is a database of Alchemy items used by the app to query from as you make your various selections.
