About Toronto Bike Guide Android App
Are you visiting Toronto? Looking to rent a bike or find a bike repair shop or a place to stay, this is the app for you.
The Toronto Bike Guide is a city guide to Toronto from a cyclist perspective. The app will provide information about bike shops, places to stay, services such as doctors, atm locations, dentist, laundry, police, embassy and place to eat or have a drink.
Within the app the choices are provided in an easily scrollable view, within the details of each option, the user can easy tap on the phone icon to make a call to the suggestion presented on the screen.
The app uses the Google Places API to retrieve the locations in the following categories bike, sleep, eat and service. The accuracy of the data is based on the accuracy of the Google Places data set for the location.
With the app, you can also check the current weather and the next few days forecast - so you can find a nice day for cycling.
Using the "Around Me" feature you can check locations in an area of 100 km from Toronto.
