About Traffic Alert Android App
Traffic Alert is an android application which provides people with instant traffic information. The application uses Global Positioning System (GPS)
of users location to send current traffic situation to other users of the application.
The application allows registered users' to broadcast traffic information to other users to allow them to plan their journey.
Traffic Alert allows users to register with just their phone number and email address. Registered members do not have to login because once registered the app automatically recognizes your credentials and grant you access. The app opens with google map showing available current traffic information. You can update traffic information for any road by clicking on the "plus" sign at the right bottom. Four options will pop up for you to choose the one which best describe the traffic situation. The options are RED-Heavy Traffic, YELLOW - Medium Traffic, GREEN - Low Traffic and BLACK - No Traffic.
A click of any on the options will automatically update the traffic information with the color of the option and a vehicle. You also click on the envelope sign to subscribe to traffic information. By subscribing, you will automatically be receiving instant traffic information update from the app.
