Users can download near real-time data feeds to monitor information about traffic incidents and events, active road closures, average travel speeds on Maryland's highway system using this app. The traffic information can be viewed as a text list, or on a map as icons. Incident details can be viewed by tapping an item on the list or a marker icon on the map display. If the map display looks too cluttered, there are filters to filter away unwanted incidents from the list or the map. In addition, the incidents can also be displayed on the external Google Maps app for better visualization of the traffic incident. When users zoom into the map, web cam markers will appear; and when tapped, a browser will pop up to display a live video feed from the selected camera.
