TravelGuitar is an accompaniment musical instrument which is always with you.

TravelGuitar was designed specifically for phone based music playing and as such it has a number features which make it unique compared to other guitar style apps:
1) Chord buttons are located in such a way that it is hard to miss them even on small size phone screen. They occupy the majority of the screen real estate (when show/hide button is pressed twice). When you are used to the layout, it is easy to play without looking at the screen.
2) Simple playing style - press and hold the chord button, listen to the beat (feel the beat with haptic feedback) and transition between chords on the beat.
3) This app implements 4D touch - an algorithm which takes into account the touch frequency(time dimension), touch strength, chord being pressed (same chord or a new chord) and some other factors to determine the playing style (fingerpicking vs strumming) as well as the note volume/brightness. 4) Multiple progression/strumming styles are available. Each style consists of repetitive progression or a sequence of strums with "preemption points" which allow to switch to a new chord or start with the next bass in the same chord without interrupting the flow of music. The "preemption point" roughly corresponds to a beat.
5) Songbook allows to show the song lyrics/chords and at the same play the song. New songs can be uploaded via http://travelguitar.us.to

It is very simple to start playing.Hold the phone in the right hand an play with a single finger - right thumb . Don't use multiple fingers. Press a chord button and hold it. As long as the button is pressed the music will play. Listen to the beat and transition between chords.
To get a nice clean and loud sound - use headphones or external speaker.
It is best to use external speaker or headphones to make the sound much cleaner and louder.
