The Mobile Application - Tree Watch developed with expertise and knowledge of Dr. Swapna Prabhu of BNHS – is a Citizen Science initiative, to promote the understanding and action necessary for a sustainable environment. We would like to thank Dr. Swapna Prabhu and Mr. Ninad B. Raut of BNHS for their help. It is hoped that this mobile application will help increase awareness and understanding about Trees amongst fellow citizens.
The Tree diversity in India is truly amazing. Trees play an important role in the Web of Life. Tree Watch App is a Citizen Science initiative of Earthwatch Institute India to facilitate easy identification of some of the trees in the field using mobile application. It is hoped that this mobile application will help increase public awareness and generate greater interest regarding trees amongst fellow citizens. The App will further strengthen our keenness to observe the environment and help us as Citizen Scientist in contributing to the knowledge base.

2. Common and Scientific names.
3.Key data like IUCN Status, Endemicity, Rarity, Size, Typical Habitat, Localities, Habit, Flowering season etc
