Fresh black truffle
100% of Italian origin. It is also called Black Truffle Scorzone or summer truffle (Tuber aestivum Vitt).
The Summer Truffle is supplied in glass jars, of a net weight of 50g or 100g depending on customer's request.
The harvest of summer truffle or Scorzone is usually from April to December. It is therefore the only type of available Fresh truffles for sale in the summer.
The Black Summer Truffle has a very strong aromatic smell, the outside brown and cut the glebe is a color that tends to dark yellow. It grows in deciduous forests, both on sandy and clay soils.
