If you don't play the bagpipes, this will mean nothing to you; but if you do, you'll already know what a pain it is to tune them correctly. It's hard enough getting the chanter right; but when you're tuning the drones, trying to listen to minute differences between the two is a real hassle.
This is why you need Tuna.
It's a simple app, which does one thing: helps you to tune your bagpipes.
Just set the frequencies you want your chanter and drones tuned to, then use the meter screen, or the spectrum screen to set them as you play.
It's as easy as that.
There's even an auto-tune, in case you don't know what your bagpipe is tuned to.
The meter screen shows the frequency of the loudest sound, and the spectrum shows you all the chanter notes, and the drone.
