The Two-way Strong Merchant Register provides necessary functions to manage products, scan UPC barcodes, record sales orders, and collect payments, all in one complete package that operates in a mobile tablet. It offers a low-cost Point-of-Sale (POS) system for operation in a conventional store. A registered merchant would be able to reduce their operating cost in procuring and maintaining specialized computer equipment, by using mobile computing devices. Each registered sales clerk employed by the registered merchant uses the Merchant Register to process a customer's order and complete a sales transaction. If a customer isn't registered, the registered sales clerk can override the electronic mode of payment and allow the customer to pay in cash. In all cases, the registered merchant can review all of their sales orders that show whether an order was paid electronically or in cash and the breakdown of amounts showing the sub total, applicable shipping, applicable tax, grand total, applicable cash payment, and applicable return change. The Two-way Strong Merchant Register requires the Two-way Strong User Authenticator for the user to have access to the features in the Merchant Register. Moreover, the user must be an approved merchant in order to access and use the Two-way Strong Merchant Register.
