Explore the cloisters, grounds and surroundings of UCL – University College London – and hear its stories come alive through your smartphone.
Journalist and UCL alumnus Jonathan Dimbleby narrates this audio tour, guiding you through tales of stowaway students from Japan, museums filled with priceless artefacts and the famous mummified resident of UCL – the philosopher Jeremy Bentham.
The multilayered stories span the entire history of the university, ranging from its revolutionary foundation in 1826 and the damage it suffered during the Blitz, to the new Institute of Making – a state-of-the-art materials workshop now housed at UCL.
Visit our Bloomsbury campus to play the tour automatically using GPS location tracking, or enjoy it from the comfort of home by using Armchair Mode.
