About Udine Vicina Android App

"Udine Vicina" is designed as a hub of information about the city. In fact, not only it contains information services of the municipality, but also interactive services offered by partners such as: Net, Saf, Ssm, Turismo FVG and Bicincittà. The project is based on a strong network strategy.


The app is divided into 5 sections:

1) ROUTES
This section contains the tourist routes of "Udine Cultura", you can explore the routes and the related points of interest.

2) CULTURE
This section contains information about the Civic Museums and the Diocesan Museum.

3) HOSPITALITY
Here you can search accommodation. The service is offered by "Turismo FVG".

4) RESTAURANTS
List of restaurants divided by type, that have joined the initiative of the City of Udine.


5) SMARTCITY
This section contains contents and functionalities derived from cooperation with the project partners and in particular:
- SAF Service: You can calculate a route using public transportation.
- Parking lots: Here you can see in real-time the vacancies in SSM's parking lots.
- Bike Sharing: You can see the available bikes at various stations. The data are provided by "Bicincittà".
- WIFI Map: Here are listed the hotspots of the public WIFI. The map is also available off-line.
- Useful Apps: A collection of sites and useful applications.

6) GENERAL MAP
Map where you can: Choose the type of points to be displayed, show the information of every single point and possibly calculate the route from your current location.
