His full name is Abdullah bin Utsman bin Amir bin Amru bin Ka'ab ibn Sa`ad bin Taim bin Murrah bin Ka'ab bin Lu`ai bin Ghalib bin Fihr al-Qurasyan at-Taimi - radhiyallahu`anhu. Meet his nasab with the Prophet to his grandmother Murrah bin Ka'ab bin Lu'ai. Abu Bakr was the Messenger of Allah - shalallahu'alaihi was salam - who had accompanied Rasulullah from the very beginning he sent him as an Apostle, he was among the first converts to Islam. Abu Bakr had the nickname "ash-Shiddiq" and "Atiq".
