Universidad Ecotec offers a variety of study abroad programs for international students who wish to study in Ecuador for a summer program or an academic semester. International students can enrol in different courses taught in Spanish language instruction or take Spanish language proficiency courses combined with service/volunteering programs and can validate the credits with their home institution.

Even at the beginner level, the topics you’ll explore in the Spanish classes are far from elementary. Why? Because we believe that engaging your mind with topics of interest – from history and the arts to current events and cooking – builds the motivation you need to succeed.

For students who wish to explore Ecuador, experience the culture, learn the language and make use of their time to earn credits towards their degree, Ecotec offers the study of Spanish Language and elective courses in various disciplines with an emphasis on Latin American Studies. The program includes travel to natural, historic and cultural destinations around Ecuador. Students will fully immerse themselves in the Ecuadorian culture.
