uPlace is an innovative application where you can easily see (just opening) a huge number of pubs, restaurants and discos near you. You can also filter them as well see places all over Spain.
All the places appear on the map classified by colours according to their average punctuation: green, yellow and red (good, normal, bad).

You can vote those places that are near you (to do that it is necessary to activate the localization tool) and you can also add new places. uPlace just saves in its data base the coordinates of the new places, names and of course the corresponding vote, being totally anonymous. Places saved as favourites by you will just be saved in your device.

Votes (colors) that appear on the map just depend on users' voting, no one pays to appear on the map. We call this concept geoopinion (opinion + location). In uPlace we understand that when somebody wants to go to a place the name is a less important reference than location and other people's reference.

Our software has been designed to filter all the information to avoid a malicious use of the voting option, making our data base reliable.
Our data base basically contains places inside the Spanish territory, but this doesn't mean that the user cannot use it all over the world.
