What is Uppening?
Uppening is the app to meet locals and travelers who are interested in doing same activities together, at the same place, at the same time.
You can always decide what you really want to do, having the possibility to choose between 2 main categories:
- Eat and Drink (Restaurants/Cafes/Pubs&Bars)
- Sport and Leisure (jogging, tennis, dog walking, etc)
If the place where you want to perform the activity It’s not in our list yet, we give you the possibility to write the name of the business/location, which will then appear as the destination of your activity.
How does It work?
1. Select the activity you want to do
2. Select the place for your activity from the one listed
3. Invite locals and travelers nearby who want to do your same activity.
4. Chat with one person at a time after invitation gets accepted. Use this chance to arrange your meeting. If you change your mind, you can always cancel the chat and invite a different person or get invited by another user.
5. After your meeting, you can review the other person by clicking "Showed Up" or "Didn't show Up". The shown-up percentage is then visible on the profile page of every user
Safety
You will meet new people in public places, however you can always report to us a bad behavior by some of our users and we will do the rest.
How much does it cost?
Uppening is completely FREE, meaning no in-app purchase, no extra credits to buy, no headache!
Privacy
Your privacy is our priority. We will never show to other users where you are exactly located
