Understanding the ambient air quality is very crucial in creating awareness about environment. Ambient air quality is the (measure of) concentration of pollutants in the air. Air quality is monitored world over. This application provides the air quality data from Pune, in Maharashtra, India, zone-wise. The objective of the application is to make available this information as part of creating public awareness.
The data is taken from www.mpcb.gov.in, the official website of Maharashtra Pollution Control Board, the state agency dealing with environmental issues in Maharashtra. The data is fed into a system at the back end and is then delivered through this application.
