About UX Suite Android App

UX Suite is a set of testing tools used in evaluating the touch performance of a device. This tool was created by the Synaptics User Experience Design team to conduct usability evaluations of touch sensors for internal research and development. The tests implemented in the app focus on evaluating real-world usability versus typical engineering tests for touchscreen sensor quality. In other words, the tests in this app reflect how you actually use all of the other apps across your device. As you finish each test, we’ll show you a simple results dialog with your performance numbers. If you’re interested in a deeper analysis, then you can get your detailed results by saving a copy of the raw data as a CSV file to your internal storage.


The first test in this app is the Selection Test, which is based on one of the most widely accepted predictive models for testing the accuracy of target selection. In the future, we’ll be including similar tests that could evaluate device characteristics such as edge sensitivity or proximity performance.
