Online Working App
This is the world’s first Ved app in which all the Vedas are in a searchable form. It can be used as a reference for searching desired mantras. This can be done by merely typing in a key word.
All the four Vedas are in text form. Currently the four Vedas are available in three languages; Sanskrit, Hindi and English. Some commentaries are available in Marathi and Nepali.
Another key feature is ‘Notes’. In this option the user can make notes while conducting research and conveniently save them.
There are also helpful direct switches to the Pandit Lekhram Mission Vaidik Facebook Page, our YouTube channel and our Arya Mantavya website on which both ancient and contemporary issues regarding the full range of Vaidik subjects are discussed.
Future Features
An alarm tab for swadhyaya – Vaidik scriptural study. This will enable the user to set the alarm so that at the set time the alarm will go off and alert the user that it is now the time for swadhyaya.
The four Vedas in 11 different languages. All languages will be in both text and searchable forms.
Anarsh commentaries – commentaries not conforming to the Vedas will also be added to the app. Researchers will be able use these in order to understand how and why misconceptions and distortions concerning the Vedas have spread.
A result share option. This will enable researchers to share the results of their research with others
Audio format. All Ved mantras, meanings and commentaries will be made available in high quality audio format.
This version of Ved (online ved) Android App comes with one universal variant which will work on all the Android devices.
